What we collect
Your name, contact details and the information an insurer needs to quote and issue a policy: for example property details, vehicle details, business information and, for life, health and accident cover, health information you choose to give us. We ask for the minimum needed for the cover you request.
Why we use it
To advise you, obtain quotes, place and renew insurance, support claims, meet legal and regulatory duties and keep our records. Where we need your consent, for example for health information, we ask for it first.
Who we share it with
Insurers and their agents, loss adjusters and service providers who help us deliver your cover, and regulators or courts when the law requires. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
For as long as we act for you and for the period the law and our regulators require afterwards.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you may ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, object to how we use it and withdraw consent. Write to us at the address above. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
